Recorder

The newest addition to Lyric is its built-in recorder, a powerful tool that empowers users to record their performances and seamlessly attach them to any part of their lyrics. This valuable feature ensures that users can effortlessly keep track of their melody and avoid confusion regarding which recording corresponds to each verse.

Rhyme Matching

Lyric automatically verifies the rhyming of your lyrics as you type. Upon completion, rhyming words are color-coded, enabling easy identification. Additionally, users have the option to adjust rhyme sensitivity, allowing for the inclusion of near rhymes and specificity in matching words at the end of a line.

Syllable Counter

The syllable counter within Lyric diligently keeps track of the syllables in each line of your lyrics. Syllable counts are clearly displayed on the left side of the screen. In measure mode, users also have access to a syllable counter for each quarter measure, enabling the creation of evenly distributed lyrics or unique syllable patterns.

Measure Mode

Measure mode in Lyric facilitates the breakdown of lyrics into quarter measures, offering convenience for lyric recitation. In this mode, the application syncs seamlessly with a metronome, which moves along the quarter measures at the designated BPM (beats per minute) specified by the user. This synchronization assists users in maintaining rhythm while practicing their lyrics.

Word Lookup

Lyric also boasts an insightful word lookup feature that allows users to explore new words. Discover rhymes and near rhymes for words that have been used or search for synonyms or definitions when seeking that perfect word. Search results are presented in a movable tab, enabling you to work on your lyrics while simultaneously reviewing the search results.

Metronome

With Lyric's metronome, users can specify the desired BPMs and synchronize it seamlessly with both the application's background and quarter measures (when in measure mode). This multi-faceted metronome serves as both an audio and visual reference, aiding users in achieving impeccable timing while honing their craft.

Notes

The built-in notepad within Lyric appears as a movable tab on the screen, providing a convenient space to jot down any lyric-related thoughts or ideas without cluttering the main lyrics.
